I Am a Child of God Finger Printable
Delight your favorite primary music leader and/or primary pianist, with this customizable I Am a Child of God finger printable! This idea was originally shared HERE. All you need is this printable, an ink pad and your primary kiddo’s fingerprints!

Access my printables at my Resource Library. Instructions for accessing my Resource Library are found at the bottom of this post. Download and print on card stock.
Use the original music as your guide as some of the fingerprints will be at the bottom of the note stems and some will be at the top.

Download it on the church’s website HERE if you need.
Then don’t forget the ink! This multi-colored ink pad, or something similar, will do the trick (Amazon affiliate link):
There are 83 notes that need fingerprints so depending on the size of your primary, children can stamp their fingers up to a few times.
Once it’s dry, place it in a colorful frame and VOILA! A customized work of art your primary music team will cherish!

Musical Note Paper Clips
For a no-fuss gift, try these musical note paper clips. They make for a very simple, inexpensive and useful gift!
Every primary music leader and pianist will LOVE these musical note paper clips! They can use them to bookmark songs in their Children’s Songbook, or any place you use a paperclip!
I love these here (Amazon affiliate link):
Place a few cellophane gift bag and tie a ribbon around it. Add a note of appreciation and you your primary music leader and pianist will definitely feel the love!
Pianist Appreciation Day
This one takes a little prep but your pianist will LOVE taking the day off while primary children who are learning to play the piano fill in!
Several weeks in advance, pass out simplified piano songs to any primary children who play the piano. Ask them to practice. Find a list of most of the church’s simplified music HERE.
Give the list of those songs to the pianist as usual. But on your particular Sunday, explain how grateful you are for your pianist and give her/him. They can sit with the primary (or head to the adult class). Invite each assigned child to play the song they practiced.
TIP: It’s probably best to not have the primary sing along as accompanying can be very difficult for beginning pianists.
If you don’t have time during singing time to do this activity, try doing it as prelude. It’s always a wonderful experience to include primary musicians in as many ways as possible!
